Leadership Development Institute Expands Marketing Efforts
The Center for Business & Industry at Northampton has appointed Susan M. Capobianco to the post of workforce development analyst. In this role, Susan will be responsible for assessing the needs of client organizations and customizing programs to address their professional and skills training needs. Susan joined to assist the Leadership Development Institute in fall 2008 and has been developing the client roster, meeting with long-term clients and uncovering additional opportunities in the technical, safety and health areas, as well as leadership training.
“The addition of Susan is of great service to us,” says Donna Goss, co-director of the Institute. “It allows for better service of our existing clients and helps to identify opportunities across a broad spectrum of needs.”
A graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, Susan has served in various sales and marketing roles over the course of her career. She was employed in sales for Day-Timers, Inc. for several years and also was director of commercial sales and leasing for Hawley Realty, both in Allentown. Most recently, Susan was employed by Victor Balata Belting Company, Easton, PA, as vice president of sales & marketing.
“With strengths in sales training management and business development, Susan will be a huge asset to our program,” says Dean Paul Pierpoint, Ed.D., Center for Business & Industry.
