Gettysburg Leadership Forum

But when your days are spent in the heat of battle, who has time to reflect and to look beyond the current challenges to opportunities over the horizon, to consider the future and plan how to meet it head on? Who has time to ponder the important issues and make sense of them?

Surprise....you do. The Leadership Development Institute at NCC has a program that can, in about two intensive days, allow you to hone your leadership skills in profound ways.

I invite you to join me as part of a small cohort of senior leaders who will visit the military fields of Gettysburg May 7-9, 2008, with experts who have studied leadership in action as it impacted this critical Civil War battle. Business strategy, communication and leadership style, integrating business systems and other key elements that impact organizational success will set the agenda for a trip through those three days in July, 1863, that can have great impact on now, 2008.

This experiential case study will be guided by a team led by Donna Goss and Don Robertson, Co-Directors of the Leadership Development Institute. From dinner on May 7th until lunch on the 9th, your time will be filled with meaningful dialogue and exhilarating learning.

I look forward to joining you at Historic Gettysburg, to learn from the past, identify business problems of today and consider winning solutions we all can apply to the future. I hope you can make the time to be with us.
