“Last year more than 110 different employers chose CBI for customized contracted training. Another 120 chose us for Technical consulting and technology transfer assistance through the Electrotechnologies Application Center . And hundreds more chose to send employees to Northampton for coursework to improve their workplace skills.

We worked with companies with as few as 10 employees and companies with as many as 10,000 employees. We worked with manufacturers, power companies, hospitals, schools, other colleges, retailers, law firms and organizations from virtually every industry sector.

Because of the requests and even demands of many of you in this room, we have stretched ourselves, our expertise, and the quality of the services we can now provide. We have moved beyond the traditional perception of a community college. I feel very secure in saying, “we are NOT your normal Community College.”

We work with employers throughout the Lehigh Valley and Eastern PA, with employers in Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Illinois, Texas and California, and across the nation and with employers on four continents - even with an employer in Kharkov, Ukraine.
