Quick Changeover for Tooling & Equipment
Tues., November 15, 8:00AM-12:00PM

Provides the fundamentals of set-up time and waste reduction in order to maximize equipment availability. Covers the key concepts and application of the Single Minute Exchange of Die (SMED) system including the key elements of variation reduction, interchangeability, tool and equipment proximity, pre-set tooling and first
piece quality checks.

Provides participants with the tools needed to assist in Six Sigma project implementation.This body of knowledge serves as a subset of the comprehensive
Black Belt curriculum enabling participants to help their company continuously improve overall quality and productivity. Taking a systems thinking approach, the course covers the key methodology used throughout the project definition, measurement, improvement and control stages.

*This course is conducted in a multi-session, full day format.
Meetings will occur from 8:30AM-4:30PM with meals and
all training materials included in the tuition fee.

CTP- Voice over IP/Convergence Technology Program
36 hours total training
Classes begin November 30

Three course program designed to prepare students for taking the Convergence Technology Professional certification examination. Program is comprised of three courses, Data Networking, Telephony Networking and Convergence Technology , all featuring a hands-on, interactive learning environment. All textbooks included.

Construction Technology
Construction Cost Estimating
Tues. & Thurs., Dec. 1-20, 6-9PM

Provides an introduction to basic blueprint reading using a combination of classroom lecture, residential and commercial construction blueprints and for the building trades and professions.

Construction Cost Estimating
Tues. & Thurs., Jan. 3-31, 6-9PM

Combines classroom lecture, construction blueprints, job specifications and hands-on exercises to develop the ability to complete quantity take-offs and costs of material and labor.

seminars will be conducted in Hartzell Technology Hall on the College’s Main campus.
