Business Fraud: One Day

In order to provide participants with a broad overview of "white collar crime" and occupational fraud, this timely, interactive and motivational learning experience explores:

who is most likely to commit occupational fraud;

what fraudulent schemes organizations are most vulnerable to;

where fraud is most prevalent within the organization; and

how participants can prevent, detect and investigate fraud.

Lean Manufacturing

October 25 - December 13, Monday evenings, 6:00 -9:00 pm, North Campus, NCC


Introduction to Lean Manufacturing provides a good foundation in the concepts and tools of lean manufacturing.  The course covers continuous improvement, value added, waste elimination, value stream mapping and gap analysis, kanban and pull process, employee involvement, setup/changeover, measurement and feedback, work cell development, design for manufacturing, the visual factory, ergonomics and agility.

OSHA Safety Training, Short Course

September 16 - October 7, Thursday evenings, 6:00 -9:00 pm, North Campus, NCC

New 10-Hour General Industry OSHA Safety Training provides training in safety and health topics pertinent to general industry, with an emphasis on hazard identification, avoidance, control and prevention.  Introduction to OSHA, Electrical, Walking/Working Surfaces, Emergency Action and Fire Prevention are a few of the topics covered in this course.
